Poet Ron Bayes, a 2014 North Carolina Hall of Fame inductee, characterized North Carolina writers by “a willingness to share” and to support one another.

As NCLR celebrates its 25th issue, we look back at the last quarter century and whole-heartedly agree. We are grateful for this culture of generosity and are thrilled to be a part of it.

For this issue, in the spirit of that camaraderie, we seek articles on the community of writers here in North Carolina and interviews with North Carolina writers talking about their experiences being supported and promoted by other writers.
