The Eastern North Carolina Literary Homecoming is a year-long program of events that celebrate and promote the culture and literature of North Carolina. With activities in six counties, the program provides a rich opportunity for people of this region to learn about and meet North Carolina writers. The featured artists invited to participate in the 2012 program are North Carolina writers and filmmakers whose works reflect this year’s theme, “Litflix: Adapting North Carolina Literature into Film.” With the visiting artists, audience members will explore how film can both enhance and distract from the written work. Read more about our theme and visiting artists in the print and online issues of the North Carolina Literary Review.
