NCLR representative(s) regularly attend(s) Bookmarks' Festival of Books and Authors, the fall conference of the North Carolina Writers Network, the annual meeting of the North Carolina Literary and Historical Association, the annual North Carolina Writers Conference, and the biennial North Carolina Literary Hall of Fame induction ceremony, as well as various other literary events across the state.

Mon., 9/11, 7 pm, Greenville, East Carolina University Hendrix Theatre, Matthew Griffin: A New Voice Telling an Old "Love Is Love" Story (The author, interviewed in NCLR 2017, will read from and answer questions about his novel.)

Sat., 9/30, 2-4 pm, Chapel Hill, Flyleaf Books Hosting a Benefit for NCLR, featuring Cold Mountain author Charles Frazier and opera composer Jennifer Higdon (ticketed event; all proceeds going supporting NCLR and ensuring the next 25 years of publication)
